March is almost here.

Spelling words for the test on March 1st are listed on the previous post.

Tubac field trip is March 21st.  Permission forms are due Friday, March 1st.

The U.S. Symbol Project is due the week of March 27 or sooner.  We had 2 fantastic presentations today in class.  Wow!

We are beginning to focus on persuasive writing.  Students have written some creative poems.

Soon we will begin our study of the Revolutionary War.  After our discussions, students will design a project highlighting some of the important information.  The project will be worked on in class and presented to the class.

Report cards will be sent home this Friday, March 1st.

Thank you for all of your support, kind words, and sharing your children with me.  I had so much fun watching our class enjoy the rare Tucson snow.  :)

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Remember we do not have school on Thursday or Friday.  Because of the short week, there will be no spelling test. Also, I will not be assigning any homework.  I hope you enjoy your break.

I owe a huge thank you to Patricia Shaffer and Galena Robinson for organizing a great Valentine's Day party. I love how parents and students all stepped up when I went him ill.  Thank you. I am a very fortunate teacher to have such amazing students and parents.
